Toys’R’Us Free In-Store Events And Giveaways Happening This Month

Saturday plans? Solved.

Taking your kids to a toy store every weekend might sound like a nightmare for your wallet, but with the scheduled events and free giveaways that Toys”R”Us has planned all throughout the month, it’s actually a nice idea to visit this retailer on a Saturday afternoon.

There are plenty of activities to keep the family busy this February. You can check the Toys”R”Us website for more information and to find a participating store near you, but here’s the general rundown of the fun in store!

1. Pokémon Event

First up on the list of activities is a Pokémon event where children 6 and up (as well as adult collectors) are invited to attend. The day’s all about trading and collecting, and you’ll also receive a free Cosmog foil card, Pokémon TCG Sun & Moon Collector’s album and get to take part in a fun coloring activity.

When: Sat, Feb. 4, 12-2 p.m.

Where: All Toys”R”Us Stores, excluding Express and Outlet Locations

2. LEGO Batman Event

This is a hands-on event in which children get to create a LEGO model of Emmet’s Bat Car and take it home with them. This is recommended for ages 6 and up. The event takes place after “The Lego Batman Movie” hits theaters on Feb. 10, so this will be a great way to round out an afternoon of movie-viewing.

When: Sat, Feb. 11, 1-3 p.m.

Where: All Toys”R”Us Stores, excluding Express and Outlet Locations

3. Geoffrey’s Birthday Event

Last, but certainly not least is Geoffrey’s birthday celebration. This event takes place on the first Saturday of the month. The next three on the calendar are from February – April. You have to be a member of the Geoffrey Birthday Club (it’s free to sign up) to receive prizes such as a plush toy and book as well as a coupon. As a member of the Birthday Club, your child will also receive a phone call from Geoffrey the Giraffe on their birthday and more.

When: Sat, Feb. 4, Sat, Mar. 4, Sat, April 1, 3-4 p.m.

Where: All Toys”R”Us Stores, excluding Express and Outlet Locations
